People
Photographing people is probably one of the most common photographic activities, and one of the most difficult to get exactly right! I have been trying to perfect my photography of people for many years, and I have worked with many models, both amateur and professional mainly using the facilities of a Photographic Club with limited lighting and backgrounds. In recent years I have been hiring studios with extensive lighting and choices of backgrounds and this has made a big difference to my work, along with the introduction of digital cameras.
When I started taking photos of people, it started off as portraiture, this has progressed to glamour and more recently artistic nude. I now try to combine all of these types and styles into most photo shoots that I do, and more recently I have also moved away from the studio to working outside on location, and in domestic surroundings.
I have created some albums of photographs of some of the models that I have worked with recently, and they can be accessed by clicking on the photo of each model detailed below. Each album contains a selection of images that I have taken of each model, and some can be viewed in Black and White (Monochrome) as well as the original colour version, if it was taken digitally. The Selection of 'Oldies' are some of my original attempts at portrait and glamour photography before I started to use digital cameras.
